Bowen Basin
The Bowen Basin covers an area of over 60,000 square kilometres in Central Queensland running from Collinsville to Theodore.
Surat Basin
The Surat Basin extends across an area of 270,000 square kilometres in Eastern Australia. Towns situated above the basin, once dominated by agriculture, are experiencing a boom as mines and infrastructure in the area are expanded.
Galilee Basin
Galilee Basin: The Galilee Basin is located in the western Queensland region of Australia. It is located west of the Surat Basin. Towns close to proposed mines in the basin include Alpha and Jericho but the basin extends north past Hughenden and south to Charleville and west beyond Winton to Middleton.
